In this dinner and dialogue circle, we held space for conversation about the status of community arts and healing spaces for youth and intergenerational creation and presentation in Scarborough and the City more broadly. We discussed questions including:
🌱 What type of need exists for in-person community arts and healing spaces in this time?
🌱 What do you desire to receive AND contribute to a community arts space?
🌱 What are some helpful histories, models, teachings, and successes we can share from our unique experiences being part of and / or leading community arts movements and spaces as artists and arts educators?
This session is facilitated by Sha and Bennette, stewards of Greenhouse Theatre. Event is open to all who wish to eat together with a desire to vision how we can co-create life-affirming, regenerative, equitable + deliciously transformative community spaces for artists and healers to thrive! Love donations are welcome and will go towards supporting Greenhouse’s QPOC-led independent community arts space in Scarborough.
