The intention of this ritual is to carve space to let go of lingering childhood wounds. We will gather to create a communal altar for our inner children and ease into gratitude for our younger selves. This event is for anyone who identifies as BIPOC. We ask folks if they identify as a survivor of childhood gender based violence so they have priority.

Participants will be guided and open space for communicating the wisdom of our higher knowings in intuitive poetry, automatic writing and meditation. .. we will also share light language activations to support the anchoring of our wisdoms and intentions. Facilitated by Sharrae Lyon

🌾 DARE 🌾 is a Karanga word signifying a place and a circle for deep community contemplation on matters of importance. It is also a circle to commune with spirit collectively. The ritual elements of DARE include community, food, and spiritual communion

Thai Pongal is the Tamil Harvest festival held annually for over 5000 years.

On Tuesday January 24th 2022 at 6pm, Sneha/Sun, in collaboration with Greenhouse Theatre will be hosting a Thai Pongal Celebration as part of the The Future is Ritual series

Thai Pongal is a four day festival where on the final day people gather with family and friends, eat great food, and do folk dances, to celebrate the harvest. We will be celebrating the final day of the festival, Kaanum Pongal by hosting a potluck and arts showcase of Tamil artists from a variety of disciplines.  We will also explore the roots of Pongal, what it looks like for the local diaspora, how you can cultivate a relationship with the land, and the ritual of Pongal by honoring ancient Tamil traditions without religious affiliation.
