DESCRIPTION

What is our relationship to our lineages? To the left side of our body? To divine feminine and masculine energies? To the past, present, and future matriarchs of our Earth?

Facilitated by Tara Ohri a queer artist residing on Tiohtià:ke with ancestral roots in Panjab. Tara has resided on Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation lands in the past. This full moon ritual will be taking place on unceded Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) territory known as Tiohtià:ke (Montréal) and will be open to BIPoC.  There will be the option to join virtually and childcare will be available on site.

This full moon ritual intends to:

🌺 facilitate a deepened relationship with the Earth, one’s body, inner child, and heart space

🌼 facilitate the ongoing support, nurturing, and celebration of our matriarchs and to the healing of past, present, and future maternal wounding that results from the demands of urgency and stress on our bodies, minds, and hearts under colonization and capitalism

🌸 resist forces that attempt to silence, devalue, question, and harm the matriarchy’s inherent power, magic, healing abilities, and potential to liberate

The ritual will open and close with a grounding meditation. Tara will guide a mirror work activity and we will conclude with a journalling prompt intended to connect us with the dreams of our inner child and heart.
