Greenhouse Theatre is calling in IBPOC (indigenous, black, people of colour) ritual arts facilitators for 2022-2023

The Future is Ritual (TFIR) is an interdisciplinary creation process and presentation of ritual works immersing into the living & liminal question: 

What is the vital role of remembering the inseparability between art and life, the land and the canvas, the seen & unseen, the ancestors & us, the human & beyond-human while creating art in a time of global crisis & transformation.

Ritual artists receive an honorarium to support ritual preparation and facilitation and will also receive supplementary support for the costs relation to the practise and documentation of the ritual

The precursor to the Future is Ritual 2022-2023 was a prototype of an online altar/ritual space followed by the creation of TFIR 2020 supported by the OAC.

TFIR invites artists to revitalize and document ritual practise that will be shared through the TFIR online ecology in 2023. Our online ecology aims to honour and collectively share models of ritual practise beyond borders to activate community healing.

This living online creative ecosystem will bring together multi-disciplinary & intergenerational artists expressing our ritualistic relationship to art, earth, spirit, our ancestors.
